The Shaper is accessed by collecting four Guardian map fragments: Fragment of the Hydra, Fragment of the Phoenix, Fragment of the Minotaur, and Fragment of the Chimera. Place all four in the map device to open The Shaper's Realm.
What are The Shaper's main mechanics?
The Shaper uses powerful cold and physical attacks including Shaper Beam (a tracking beam that deals massive cold damage), Shaper Slam (a telegraphed ground slam), and creates Vortex Balls that leave chilling ground. He also has phases where you must fight through portals.
What does The Shaper drop?
The Shaper drops Shaper-influenced rare items, the Dying Sun unique ruby flask, Shaper's Touch unique gloves, and the Starforge unique sword. He also drops fragments for the Uber Elder encounter.
What level should I be to fight The Shaper?
The Shaper is recommended for characters level 85+ with capped elemental resistances. Having high cold resistance, at least 5,000 life, and good single-target DPS is important for surviving his mechanics.
